LW Honored as Top 100 for 2nd Year

Oct 28, 01:43 PM

LaborWorks was named a Fastest-Growing Private Company by the Puget Sound Business Journal at an invitation-only event held at Qwest Field on Oct. 23. At the awards event, all 100 companies that made the list were honored and the rankings were announced.

The Fastest-Growing Private Companies program was launched 14 years ago by the Puget Sound Business Journal to identify and recognize companies speeding to the top of their industries. To be eligible, companies must: be privately held and headquartered in Washington; have at least $500,000 in net revenue in 2005; show an overall growth from 2005 to 2007 fiscal years; and agree to have their CPA confirm their net operating revenues with Puget Sound Business Journal and accounting partner Grant Thornton.

“Making the Top 100 List for the second straight year is a huge honor that every member of our team contributed to and can be very proud of,” said Founder and CEO Scott Sabo who attributes the growth of LaborWorks to its just-in-time staffing model. “Workers arrive in the branches early to secure a full day assignment. This creates a pool of workers that can be dispatched to job sites quickly, which is a huge plus for our industrial based customers.”

About LaborWorks:

Since opening its first branch in 1998, LaborWorks has grown to 15 locations in the Pacific Northwest. Its success is due in no small part to the vision of its owner and CEO, Scott Sabo. “We pride ourselves on delivering quality temporary workers to our customers quickly and with minimal effort on their part,” Sabo said. Employers who choose LaborWorks benefit from its “No Hassle Hiring” program where they take care of all paperwork, taxes and employer burdens such as garnishments. LaborWorks has the ability to match workers with employers in a variety of fields including general labor, construction, landscaping, warehousing and assembly. Workers can choose either daily or weekly pay and are provided with both safety equipment and training. Utilizing the services that LaborWorks offers allows companies to concentrate on their business and workers to hone their job skills. . . a win-win for both. LaborWorks currently has twelve branches in Western Washington including Seattle, Bellevue, Everett, Tacoma, Auburn and Olympia.

LaborWorks ranked 89th on the list with a growth rate of 74.6% from 2005 to 2007.
